Curly Sue

so my question of the day is straight hair or curly hair? i would like to know from men specifically if they have a preference. are you more attracted to women that have straight hair or curly hair?

i have naturally curly hair, its shoulder length. the curl isn't a tight, kinky type curl and my hair isn't crazy frizzy curly either. its a nice spiral curl. whenever i get my hair cut, she always straightens it. i like my hair both ways. i look totally different with straight hair. i don't straighten it because its a lot of work, and i believe that hair shouldn't be a lot of work.

so, which is it, curly or straight? or does it depend? of course comments from both sexes is always welcome.

My former roommate had beautiful blonde shoulder-length, non-frizzy curls. So, I could not understand it when she started spending hours "straightening" her hair. Ladies, I've had stick-straight hair since the day I was born. It is beyond me why those of you with beautiful soft curls want straight, lifeless hair, but then again, I've never dealt with frizz, so I guess I can't really say. So, my vote is for curly, but I guess we all want what we can't have.

Now a days I would say "straight", the straighter the better. Although a nice soft curl is always nice. However, i'm sure my mind will change as always, lol.

I can totally relate!
My hair is also naturally curly, and when I let it air dry, I get these nice little ringlets, but the last time I went to the hairdresser, he straightened it! It did look great, but ugh!! The upkeep!! I went out and was all excited when I bought one of those straightening irons (do you remember the ones from the 80's with the crimpers??) and fat natural bristle brush and attemped to do what had once seemed to be the impossible. About 1/4 of the way through this hair tearing process, I gave up. I burned my face with the iron, got my locks stuck in that stupid brush and re-split every spit end there was!! You know dear, people pay lots of money to have hair like ours. I think we just have to stop fighting nature and give up and learn to love it!!! (Either that or hire a full time hair stylist...)
